Description
H P Hercules Hand Wound - Ice Blue
This particular watch features an Ice Blue dial that captures the serene blue of the clear glacial ice. With numeral indexes at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, and the elegant "sword" hour and minute hands. The second hand is a deep, blood red colour in tribute to those who never returned from the treacherous Nanga Parbat.
Uniquely crafted by Manufacture horlogère Vallée de Joux in the heart of the Swiss Jura mountains, the hand wound movement is equipped with double barrels for extra power and can run for an impressive 120 hours (5 days) when fully wound. The alpinism inspiration can be seen in the engraved bridges, reminiscent of old maps, and filled with BGW9 SuperLuminova that glows a vibrant blue in the dark - just like the frozen permafrost at the mountain's peak.
